Enrolment at Churton Park School is currently governed by an Enrolment Scheme with a defined “Home Zone”.

We invite all prospective New Enrolment parents to view our school in action.  Please call the office to make an appointment to meet the Principal and visit our school.

Enrolment forms must be filled out prior to your child starting school. You can complete a pre-enrolment form online via our school website. A copy of your child’s Birth Certificate, Immunisation Certificate, proof of address and any resident or student visas must be provided to the office before your child starts school.

Please check the school zone map to ensure you are in the school zone before completing an online enrolment form. If you are not in zone you will need to complete the enrolment form to go into the out of zone ballot.

You can use our online enrolment form.

All online enrolments will be acknowledged and advised whether it is a valid enrolment.

Out of zone students:

Each year the Board of Trustees will determine the number of places, if any, which will be available in the following year for students whoi live outside the home zone.  If there are places, the Board will publish this information by notice in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.  The notice will indicate how applications are to be made and will specify a date by which all applications must be received.  Applications for enrolment will be processed in the following order of priority:

First Priority:     This priority catergory is not applicable at this school because the school does not run a special programme approved by the Secretary.

Second Priority: Will be given to an applicant who is a sibling of a current syudent of the school.

Third Priority:    Will be given to an applicant who is a sibling of a former student of the school.

Fourth Priority:  Will be given to an applicant who is a child of a former student of the school.

Fifth Priority:     Will be given to an applicant who is either a child of an employee of the Board of the school or a child of a member of the Board of the school.

Sixth Priority:    Will be given to all other applicants.

If there are more applicants in the second, third, fourth, fifth or sixth priority groups then there are places available, selection within the priority group will be by a ballot conducted in accordance with instructions issued by the Secretary under Section 11G(1) of the Education Act 1989.

Parents will be informed of the date of any ballot by notice in a daily or community newspaper circulating in the area served by the school.

Applicants seeking second or third priority status may be required to give proof of a sibling relationship.
