NORTHERN ZONE SPORT
Each school is represented on the committee by a staff rep who attends a meeting on the second Wednesday of each term in the staffroom at Churton Park School at 3.45pm. A calendar of events is prepared each year. Wherever possible, students from CPS are represented at all events. Cricket, football and hockey are played socially with teams picked on interest rather than ability. Swimming, athletics and cross country are individual competitive events which students can progress to the Northern Zone, Inter Zone and Regional level if successful.

NETBALL
Our school is represented in the Northern Suburbs Netball competition organised through the school for playing in Newlands on a Saturday during the winter months. A parent is our school representative on this committee. Uniforms are available for all players. This is for both boys and girls.

MINIBALL
Miniball teams are organised through the school for Year 3/4 and Year 5/6 during Terms 2 and 3 if there is enough interest and parents are able to manage/coach a team.

OTHER SPORTING CODES
At various times throughout the year other sporting codes offer coaching sessions and tournaments, and based on our long term planning we try to offer our students a range of options - including table tennis, volleyball, girls only events, Aussie Rules, futsal, gymnastics, basketball, waterpolo, rippa rugby and tennis, to name a few.
