The Home and School Association is a great way to contribute to the school, working with the Board of Trustees and teaching staff to ensure our children receive the best possible education. It is also a lot of fun and provides an opportunity to work and socialise with a committed group of school parents.

We support the school community by:

  • promoting a sense of community;
  • providing a forum for communication on a variety of issues;
  • encouraging social interaction within the school community;
  • raising funds to provide improved facilities and opportunities for members of the school community.

We encourage parents and caregivers to be involved with Home and School activities at any level they feel able. There are many opportunities to be involved.

You are welcome to attend our meetings which are held on the 2nd Monday of every month (except school holidays) in the school staffroom. Attendance does not commit you to any responsibilities, but we do appreciate fresh ideas and feedback.

Help is required to ensure the various social events and activities organised by the Home and School Association run smoothly and are successful. The old adage that ‘many hands make light work’ certainly applies!

During the year we endeavour to hold events which provide social opportunities for our school families and we also organise fundraising activities to improve the school environment. Examples of recent fundraising projects are the play matting under the adventure playground, new maths resources for classes and information technology and communication equipment throughout the school.

If you would like to know more or are willing to help, please let the staff in the school office know and they will get a committee member to contact you.
