School Swimming:
All blocks will participate in a school swimming programme at various times during the year. The S Block, M Block and New Entrant programmes will be held at the Tawa Pool and the J Block programme at Keith Spry Pool, Johnsonville. (Unfortunately the Tawa Pool was unable to cater for all our programmes this year).
Swimming is an important part of the Physical Education and Health Curriculum. The fact that the children are able to have a daily 30 minute programme, focussing on skills at their level, taken by qualified swimming instructors at a very reasonable price has been an important consideration in the school’s decision to continue on with the programme in its current form.
