The Home & School Association's next meeting is at 7.30pm in the school staffroom MONDAY 10TH MAY.
Our small committee of parents has had three new members this year, but there is always room for one more and one more after that.
If you would like to become involved on a regular or casual basis, come along to this week's afternoon tea or the next committee meeting or forward your details to the secretary.
Our main aim is to organise the FUN in FUNdraising events over the year. Our target for this year, set by the Borad of Trustees is $15,000.
LOLLY UPDATE
Thanks to everyone who helped sell the term one lollies. So far we have banked $6,200 and are well on our way to the above target.
The money raised so far will go towards digital camera purchases and trestle tables.
The feedback forms were gratefullt received and we appreciate the time and effort that everyone put into these and the lolly sales. The overwhelming response was very positive and we will consider a similar event in another few years.
We still have a few boxes left to sell, so if your place of work enjoyed these treats please get in touch.
AFTERNOON TEA
After our very successful first sfternoon tea in term one, we will be repeating the event on Wednesday 5th May from 2.15pm in the school staffroom.
So skip out of work early or leave home to pick up the kids a little sooner and pop in to the staffroom for a cup of tea or coffee.
Everyone is welcome, especially parents new to the school. As well as meeting other parents, it's a great chance to meet some of the HSA committee members and give us your feedback or future suggestions.
ENTERTAINMENT BOOKS
A Big THANK YOU to Tracey Barron for arranging this fundraising event again this year. We wish you and your family well in the Hawkes Bay.
WALKATHON
The proceeds from this year's sponsored event will be spent on furniture and equipment to complement our new Mimio Boards.
