New Principal
The Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs Anne Lye as the new principal of Churton Park School.
Anne is currently the principal of Newbury School in Palmerston North, where she has held this role for 5 years.
Anne is passionate about, and committed to, providing a high quality educational environment. She is about to participate in an International Study Tour for Principals to visit schools in South Africa and then to attend the National Leadership Centre in England where she will also be able to visit schools and work with some experienced experts in education.
Anne will be taking up her role as principal at the start of Term 1, 2010. However, she will be spending time at Churton Park School over the next term to meet staff and get to know the school.
We look forward to welcoming Anne to her new role.
Mrs Di Patchett has agreed to continue acting as principal until the end of the school year. The Board is grateful for her work to date as acting principal and her willingness to continue acting in this role.
